Different jobs done on a Benetti
Construction and placement of 6 steps of 1.10 m x 30 cm in fibre and make a box of approximately 1.10 m x 60 cm, following the lines and the shape of the front of the cabin.
To carry out this work, a mold has been made for each step and we’ve putty, primed and painted with Awlgrip.
For each step we’ve put 10 mm thick remarked teak.
Make a stainless-steel railing having to descale, smoothen, polish and assemble it. This railing is made to ensure safety when going up or down from the top during navigation.
All the works have been carried out following the colours and styles of the boat so as not to break the aesthetics.
Construction of two pieces of furniture for the cockpit area in which the following works have been carried out:
- Make some molds with gel-coat, fibreglass and resin to make custom-made furniture.
- Sanded, primed, putty and painted furniture.
- Make, adjust and place the upper part of the furniture, frames and doors in teak.
- Sand the teak pieces and varnish them.
- Make shelves for the interior of the furniture in teak with a solid front and varnish them.
- Install a magnetic closure security system.
- Assemble the furniture aboard the boat.
